Onward is delighted to invite you to Keeping the game beautiful: What should the fan-led review of football governance propose?
A month after six Premier League clubs abortively attempted to create an uncompetitive breakaway European Super League, this event will bring together leading voices from football and politics to discuss how the game should be reformed - not just to prevent another ESL breakaway but to introduce greater accountability in ownership, a stronger voice for fans, and the case for a formal regulator.
Confirmed panellists include:
Gary Neville, former Manchester United footballer
Lord Mervyn King, former Governor of the Bank of England
Lord James O'Shaughnessy, former Health Minister and former Director of Policy, No.10
Alison McGovern MP, Shadow Sports Minister
Tom Greatrex, Vice-chair, Football Supporters Association National Council
When: Tuesday, 8th June
Time: 9.00am – 10.30am
